Mary is portrayed with calm, modern simplicity in Dolfi's Maternal Embrace Nativity figure. A flowing ivory veil and softly shaded blue robe frame the warm natural-toned center, while a slim gold accent follows the figure's graceful curved silhouette.
Hand-painted in Val Gardena, Italy, this maple wood figure offers a gentle contemporary interpretation of the Nativity. Its pared-back form works beautifully within a modern display or alongside more traditional Nativity figures, keeping the focus on the quiet devotion at the heart of the Christmas story.
