       Byers’ Choice Carolers began in the late 1960s, when Joyce Byers started handcrafting singing Victorian-style figures at her kitchen table in Pennsylvania, using simple materials like wire, newspaper, fabric, and clay. Her charming carolers were first made as Christmas decorations and gifts for friends and family, but demand quickly grew as local shops and Women’s Exchanges began to sell them. By 1978, the family officially formed Byers’ Choice Ltd., and today their beloved Carolers are still handcrafted in Chalfont, PA, by skilled artisans, keeping the tradition of an old-fashioned Christmas alive.
