The two collections that anchor the category are Department 56 Snow Village Halloween — ceramic and porcelain haunted mansions, crypts and townsfolk aimed at collectors — and Lemax Spooky Town, a resin line with animation and sound at lower price points. The two are built to a compatible scale, so most displays mix them. Each design is produced in a limited annual run and retired afterwards; the 2026 releases are available in stock and on pre-order, and popular pieces sell out before late October.

Each design is made in a limited annual run and then retired rather than reissued. Once our allocation is gone it is gone, which is why the strongest buying window is August through September.
