Halloween at The Christmas Loft covers five areas: costumes and accessories, home decor, collectibles, decorations, and Halloween village pieces from Department 56 and Lemax Spooky Town. Village and collectible pieces are produced in limited annual runs and retired afterwards, so the widest selection runs from August through October and the most popular designs sell out before Halloween week. Orders ship from the family-owned store in North Conway, New Hampshire, which has sold seasonal decor since 1980.

Halloween at The Christmas Loft covers everything spooky, and it starts with the villages. The Halloween village range is the part collectors add to year after year, built from Department 56 haunted mansions in ceramic and porcelain and the animated shops and carnival attractions of Lemax Spooky Town. Away from the display table, Halloween home decor brings the season into the room, splitting into hand-painted collectibles for shelves and mantels and the lighted decorations — water globes, lanterns, signs, wreaths and glass tabletop trees — that do the everyday work of dressing a house for October. Halloween ornaments hang the season on a tree of its own, and costumes and accessories, licensed masks among them, handle the night itself.
