Halloween Collectibles

Halloween collectibles are free-standing figurines made for display rather than for hanging on a tree. The range at The Christmas Loft spans four makers: Karen Didion, known for large hand-painted witches with fabric costuming and lighted versions; Jim Shore Heartwood Creek, whose Halloween figures carry the quilt-pattern and rosemaling detailing of his folk-art style; Lori Mitchell, whose poly-resin characters run to pumpkin-and-skull costuming in a vintage trick-or-treat register; and Byers' Choice, whose Halloween witch carolers are handcrafted in Chalfont, Pennsylvania with clay heads and custom-cut fabric. Licensed character figures sit alongside them. Pieces run from small shelf accents to statement figures over a foot tall, and most collections are issued in annual runs and then retired.
